method to get the 'acc_sequence' number for NA courses

    • Article Type: General
    • Product: Aleph
    • Product Version: 19.01

    Description:
In the OPAC, the 'acc_sequence' is used to retrieve a specific course reserve list. So, for example, when you do a browse search for a course in our OPAC and then select a course you get the following: http://libary.edu:8991/F/5RLLEQY8D4HG8TUJ8I1QHGVI1G9DJI7YHBLPH5M8TAQIS7P4DK-21835?func=find-acc&acc_sequence=000021056

Is there a method to get the 'acc_sequence' number for courses that are not currently visible in the OPAC? The Course Reading Lists and Course Display in the circulation GUI does not display this information.

    Resolution:
What is displayed in the opac is from how the base was defined in tab_base.eng and the fact it would have "not wpe NA" so that the inactive courses were not displayed.

You can create a new base that only has wpe NA.

You don't have to make the link with that particular base available anywhere in your OPAC, you can click the existing link
    http://libary.edu:8991/F/?func=find-b-0&local_base=RES
and just substitute in the different base. For example if the new base was called RES-NA then the link would be:
    http://libary.edu:8991/F/?func=find-b-0&local_base=RES-NA
