    oclc_server: "License limit exceeded"

    • Article Type: General
    • Product: Aleph
    • Product Version: 21

    Problem Symptoms:
    1. The oclc_server fails to import records.
    2. The message "Error: License limit exceeded" appears in the oclc_server_nnnn.log whenever a record is sent via OCLC Connexion -- despite the fact that only one user at a time is doing this. The $alephe_tab/license file has "MAX-OCLC-USERS 001".

See Additional Information below for actual log entries.

    Cause:
    Uncertain

    Resolution:
Have Ex Libris create a new license with "MAX-OCLC-USERS 002".

    Additional Information

See Article 000009299 for a discussion of "License limit exceeded", in general.
