    oclc_server: Load error : file 'oclc_server_new_fix_0'

    • Article Type: General
    • Product: Aleph
    • Product Version: 16.02

    Description:
We see the following error in the oclc_server log:

    Load error : file 'oclc_server_new_fix_0'
    error code: 173, pc=0, call=61, seg=0
173 Called program file not found in drive/directory

    .

    Resolution:
The oclc_server_new_fix routines are different than the fix_doc_oclc fixes.

Which oclc_server_new_fix's are executed is determined by $alephe_tab/tab_oclc column 5. The column 5 header says: "This column can include up to 5 special fixes." *Each* of the five positions in the column represents a possible fix.

The tab_oclc column 5 currently has "03 ". You probably intend to execute oclc_server_new_fix routine 3. By specifying "03", you are saying that you want to execute oclc_server_new_fix_0 and oclc_server_new_fix_3.

The error message is due to the fact that there *is* no oclc_server_new_fix_0 program (--only oclc_server_new_fix_1, oclc_server_new_fix_2, and oclc_server_new_fix_3).

To correct this, you need to change tab_oclc column 5 to: "3 " -- and then restart the oclc_server (util w/3/7/3).
