The input file from p-ret-01 was 973,000 records.
Resolution:
Files output by ALEPH jobs have a limit of 2Gig (or, in some cases, 4Gig). Some jobs are set up to split the output across multiple files, but p_print_01 is not.
The records written to the TP1 file (the $data_scratch/print_01_1 work file) are typically 3,000 bytes each. Thus, this file can accommodate 6 - 700,000 bib records.
