    p_print_11 Segmentation fault

    • Article Type: General
    • Product: Aleph
    • Product Version: 20

Running of p_print_11 is getting a segmentation fault. It appears to be the same issue described in KB 16384-16738. I stripped out most of the non-https lines and it failed on the https. What needs to be done to install a corrected version of that perl module? Attached is a clip from the log:

In some Aleph installations on Solaris 10 machines p_print_11 may fail with segmentation fault due to a faulty SSLeay Perl module.

You can test the module by typing the following command:

If you receive "Segmentation fault" continue to the next step.

Fix it by typing the following commands:

    cd /exlibris/ftp_from_exlibris
    cd product_patches
    get SSLeay.SunOS.10.tar.gz

    tar zxvf SSLeay.SunOS.10.tar.gz -C /exlibris/product/perl-5.8.8

Test if the fix worked by typing:

You should get some http header.
