run_e_01_word log never has any records processed

    • Article Type: General
    • Product: Aleph
    • Product Version: 18.01

    Description:
We find that the run_e_01_word logs don't show any indication of any records having been processed.

    Is this normal?

    Resolution:
Unlike the run_e_01_a.nnnn and run_e_01_z0102.nnnn log files, the run_e_01_word.nnnn log does not contain any indication of records processed. It *will*, however, indicate if there are errors in processing.

So you need to look at these logs only if there seems to be problems with the Word indexing of new/updated records.

Note: As described in KB 16384-27889, in v20-up, the ue_01_word_parallel process is running and the run_e_01_word.nnnn logs *do* show the records processed.
