    Description:
We are working on Circulation Statistics and have several questions about them.
    Please answer the following quetions:

    1. In Arc,” Event Type ID” and “Event Type Description “comes from tab_events.eng. Event “Category Id “ and ”Event Category Description” comes from pc_tab_exp_field.eng. It seems that there is a file or table that maps the fields in tab_events.eng to the fields pc_tab_exp_field.eng. Where is this table? In pc_tab_exp_field.eng we have a field description as 10 “unknow” and the fields from tab_events.eng that map to it seem to be booking statistics, and we are getting “Event Type Ids” of 95 and 96 that are not mapped or described.

    2. We are getting data with an “Event Type ID “of 95 and 96, which is not mapped to any field in pc_tab_exp_field.eng. What type of events do these fields count?

    3. Loans: Transfer Loan - tab_events.eng type 56. Does this event count loans to the “In Transit “patron?

    4. How are Returns from the “IN Transit” patron counted or logged? There doesn’t seem to be a category for them in tab_events.eng.

    5. Holds. tab_events.eng counts:
71 Expand Hold Request on Available Item
72 Non-Expand Hold Request on Available Item
73 Expand Hold Request on Nonavailable Item
74 Non-Expand Hold Request on Nonavailable Item

What is an “Expand” hold or a “Non-Expand hold’?

If you wish to add event types to existing categories please state that in the enhancement request.

    EVENT-CATEGORY L Booking 10

All ‘other’ types will receive this category.
