A new collection by the same name was added to the Community Zone and is managed by Ex Libris. The Contributed E-collection name was changed to "USC Shoah Foundation VHA (Contributed)". Please note that the new E-collection currently has brief records and on next week (Week47), the Contributed E-collection will be deleted, and the newest E-collection will be enriched with full MARC records. If you are using this E-collection, please deactivate the contributed E-collection and activate the newest one.

This will allow us to fully align SFX and Alma with the current title list, as well as to configure the collection for automatic additions/deletions moving forward. The first step of this clean-up process is the deletion of approximately 240,000 titles that are no longer part of the Ebook Central Perpetual and DDA collection, to be executed in two batches starting on the 20194000 Alma CKB update. We have performed analysis in conjunction with the Ebook Central team to ensure that titles slated for deletion are not owned by any customers. These deletions will not affect current titles or perpetual titles already purchased by customers.

• When contacting Library and Archives Canada, we were told that LAC made a serious revision to the CSH records as part of their migration into the OCLC WMS environment and now there are only 2,172 records instead of the 7,320 that can be found in Alma Community Zone. We were advised to delete all of the old CSH records from Alma Community Zone and to run a new reload. The deletion and reload will be done in the next 2 weeks.

USC Shoah Foundation VHA E-collection

Week 24, June 16th

• In April the E-collection USC Shoah Foundation VHA E-collection was contributed to Alma Community Zone by University of Southern California.
  A new collection by the same name was added to the Community Zone and will be managed by Ex Libris.
  The Contributed E-collection name was changed to "USC Shoah Foundation VHA (Contributed)".
  Please note that the new E-collection currently has brief records that will be enriched with full MARC records in the near future. Once the records are enriched the Contributed E-collection will be deleted, in order to ensure that consistent quality is maintained.
