| Description | This session gives a step-by-step explanation of how to fill out the Alma Migration Form which is the first phase in the migration process from your current ILS to Alma. Once the form has been completed, it is read by the migration programs and the information automatically uploaded during the migration process. The use of migration form validation tools will be demonstrated, showing alerts to errors in data which would prevent the successful loading of preferences during the migration process. You may notice some differences between your migration form and the one shown in the recorded sessions. This is because Alma continues to develop rapidly. We strive to keep the training sessions up to date, so these changes are usually minor. In case you are uncertain, please stick to the instructions included in the form, and you are welcome to consult your project team. |
