Alma "Manage Patron Services" (Loan/Return) is Not connecting to RFID or is slow

Question
Customers reported slowness when loaning or returning items through "Manage Patron Services", and when connected to RFID. This is experienced in Chrome, and by some users. We are not aware of a known issue in Alma. Is there any advice?
Answer
The customer figured it out - in addition to having pop-up blockers disabled, it was needed to allow "Local network access" in Chrome settings.
