Analytics Report includes data that was deleted months ago

Analytics inventory report includes items that were deleted. How can they be filtered out from the report?

Go to Analytics > Design Analytics

Edit or create an analysis in the Subject Area of your choice; e.g., 'E-Inventory'.
Add the desired columns for your report.
From the Portfolio section, choose "Life Cycle" and add it to your report.

The "Life Cycle" field has two values: "In Repository" and "Deleted":

To remove deleted items from your report, add a filter to the "Life Cycle" criteria so that only "In Repository" items will be displayed.

View the results to confirm that only inventory currently in your repository appears:
