Barcode information not transferred to Alma on RFID by Bibliotheca with new third party software staffConnect

Description

Until now customers use RFID from Bibliotheca with Liber8connect software. Bibliotheca announced to change the third party software to staffConnect under Windows 10 which led to the following problem: staffConnect link reads the item placed on the antenna, but the setup does not result in barcode information placed in Alma.

Resolution

Some customers discussed intensively with Bibliotheca and finally Bibliotheca decided to extend the support for Liber8Connect so that it will be save to move to Windows 10.

Please note:

Don't use new OBID drivers when switching to Windows 10 but drivers from 2013.
