Calendar Import gives error for invalid data in a blank row

Question

When uploading an Excel file with calendar hours into the Calendar Management page in Alma, why is there an error for a blank row?

After clicking to Upload and Import Rows, errors show "Invalid record type at line," "Invalid calendar date at line," and "Invalid recurrence [empty] at line," but the specified line does not exist in the file.

Answer

This occurs if a line is blank in Excel, but the row itself has not been deleted. If the row has been cleared but not fully deleted, the calendar loader will give an error for an invalid line. In Excel, select the row, right click, and choose "Delete."
