Error: "Unable to update mapping table. A required parameter was not supplied: ill_item_creation_lib_code" for Fulfillment Configuration Other Settings

Question

Get error:

"Unable to update mapping table. A required parameter was not supplied: ill_item_creation_lib_code"

when trying to update a parameter, e.g. "overdue_lost_loan_profile_ignore_due_hour".  The table is at: Configuration > Fulfillment > General > Other Settings.

Answer

Try first to put the value: "RS_SHARE" (without parentheses) in: ill_item_creation_lib_code, and save.

If error persists - find the Library code in which Resource Sharing is configured, or leave the value empty.

The reason is that Alma expects the ill_item_creation_lib_code and ill_item_creation_loc_code parameters to be values from a library that is designated as a resource sharing library in General Configuration > Libraries > Add a Library or Edit Library Information > Libraries > Click on a library (under the Resource Sharing Information section, there is a checkbox that says 'Is resource sharing library'). 

If, in default setup, that box isn't checked for the Resource Sharing Library - it is possible to empty the value and save the parameters.
