    Error message "Could not create request, default item location is not defined for the resource sharing library" when trying to process ILL Requests

    Problem Symptoms:
    We are having trouble processing ILL requests. We get the following error mesage:

    "Could not create request, default item location is not defined for the resource sharing library"

    Cause:
    There is no default location defined in the Borrowing Setup section of your Resource Sharing Library:

    Administration > General Configuration > Configuration Menu > Add a Library or Edit Library Information > Libraries tab > Default location field in the Borrowing Setup section under Resource Sharing is empty

    Resolution:
    Fill in 'Borrowing Resource Sharing Requests' as default location and save the change.
