File extensions do not appear for files created after running a publishing profile

If you run a publishing profile and the output file that is created does not appear with a file extension, for example:
Set the enable_file_extension_fix_in_general_publishing_profiles customer paramter to true. The files will then appear with their file extensions, like so:
