How to ensure correct display of diacritics in Connexion imports

Desired Outcome Goal:
Correct display of diacritics in records imported from Connexion.
Procedure:
1. Go to Tools->Options->Export in the Connexion client
2. Change the setting from MARC-8 to UTF-8
This will resolve the issue.
