Network Zone normalization rules don't appear on drop-down menus
- Product: Alma
Symptoms
When a normalization rule is saved as a network rule it will not appear on drop-down menus, such as when adding a process to metadata configuration profiles.
Defect Status
There is no estimated date for the fix.
Workaround
The workaround is to recreate the rule as a local rule, by changing the default placement of new rules to "local" and then to duplicate the rule:
1. Go to Alma > Resource Management > Cataloging > Open Metadata editor > Normalization Rules
2. File > choose Options
3. In the window select location under "Placement of new rules" = local
4. Go to the rule which was saved in the Network zone, right click on it and select "duplicate".
A copy of the rule will be saved within the local rules and will appear on drop-down lists as expected.
