How to prevent recalls when the loan is created via the 'Create Item' button in Patron Services (on the fly items)?
When staff at a Circulation Desk create a brief bibliographic book record in order to lend an item "on the fly" to a patron, the loan falls immediately due because a recall for the time to Technical Services is automatically generated.
Answer
The "Recalls Loans" flag can be turned off for the relevant Work Order Type (General Configuration Menu > Work Order Types> Edit)
