    Is it possible to use a Library-level Digitization Department to create requests via an API?

    Question

    When using the "Create request for an Item" API, the call results in errors when a Library-level Digitization Department is used (4011393- "The chosen Target Destination could not be found."). Is it possible to use a Library-level Digitization Department to create requests via an API?

    Answer

    No, this is not possible. Alma APIs are currently designed to only allow Institution-level Digitization Departments to create requests on items at this time.
