Linking inventory to PO Line is impacted by Purchase Type

Question

It is only possible to link inventory to PO Line of the same Inventory Resource Type? 

For example, Electronic portfolio cannot be linked to Physical PO Line?

Answer

There needs to be correlation between the Purchase type (e.g. physical or electronic).  Yet it is possible to handle this type of order by using associated PO lines.
