Configure Alma to loan items until the end of the day

Question

How can Alma be configured so that the due date / due time is set to the last open minute of the same day?

Answer

In the Terms of Use (TOU) used for items that should be due at closing set the following:

1. The 'Due Date' policy set to '0 days'.

2. The 'Closed Library Due Date Management' policy set to 'Move backward - move to end of previous open day'.

Now, the loans using this TOU will be assigned a due date / due time of the last open minute of the loan day.
