New and improved Alma Analytics Interface inside Alma

Analytics tools are important and sometimes crucial for the everyday work of librarians both as decision making tools and as status indicators.
The new and enhanced Alma user interface for handling Analytics reports is designed to offer more information and transparency about analytics objects such as widgets, reports, dashboards, and scheduled reports. Additionally, the new methodology allows for searching, viewing and sharing the analytics objects in an easy and intuitive manner.

In this session we will review some of the features and capabilities that will increase analytics integration within Alma:

    • A Next Generation Analytics Objects List
    • Report Preview within Alma
    • Creating an Alma Landing Page from a DV Workbook
    • Sharing reports via a report URL
    • Creating Favorites

This session will be delivered by Yoel Kortick and  Raphael Gabbay

    Digital Fulfillment

Digital Fulfillment in Alma (also known as "Patron Waitlist for Digital Resources") allows the institution to

    • Determine how many concurrent users can view a digital object
    • Control how long each user can view a digital object
    • Enable patrons to join a "waitlist" to view a digital object at a later period if it is currently not available due to maximum concurrent users viewing it.

This session will cover the configuration of Digital Fulfillment and also show live workflows of its use.

New Unified PO Line Task List

The new layout is designed to provide users who manage PO lines with a more streamlined experience, in which more information is available at a glance and new search and facet options make it easier to locate PO lines with certain characteristics.

Some of the main new features of the new UI are:

    • Details pane: A work area, called the Details pane, can be opened on the right side of the PO-line list. Most aspects of a PO line can be edited in the Details pane without losing sight of the task list, and the new arrangement speeds up the editing process.
    • Sections menu in the Details pane: The fields of the Details pane are divided into sections, and a collapsible Sections menu enables users to quickly navigate between the sections.
    • Multiple-facet selection: Multiple criteria can be selected in each facet category, providing more flexibility in the creation of a filtered PO-line list.

During this session we will provide a live demo and explanation of these and other new features and advantages.

This session will be delivered by Yoel Kortick and Noam Fass

Pre-filtering an analytics report by library per staff user (library independence)

This session will be delivered by Yoel Kortick and Raphael Gabbay

    • This webinar will explain how it is possible to have one analytics report which will filter by different libraries per staff user.
    • This is useful in institutions where each library in the institution is a completely independent entity and staff users are allowed to see data only from "their own" libraries or certain libraries.
