What is happening to the database Maney Open Access and freely available journals?
ProQuest currently has title-level information for the Maney Open Access and freely available journals from provider Maney Publishing in the Knowledgebase. The provider has changed this to an index-only database and there is no full-text included in the database.
The database Maney Open Access and freely available journals from the provider Maney Publishing is no longer being updated. In order to maintain accurate and authoritative provider metadata (based on our Knowledgebase collection policy), all titles will be removed from Maney Publishing database and the database will be hidden in the Knowledgebase on July 25, 2026. The database will become a zero-titles database, and no future subscriptions will be possible.
