Brill Online Reference Works – Title Lists

    Overview

Brill hosts a large number of online reference databases under their Brill Online Reference Works platform: https://referenceworks.brill.com/

    Important Note on Title Lists

Brill provides one KBART file for all titles in the Brill Online Reference Works platform, rather than separate KBART files for each bundled package or sub-collection.

    For example:

The Encyclopaedia of Islam Online (English) (Collection ID 6113971210000041) contains four components within its series, but Brill does not supply individual KBART files for each component. Instead, these titles are included in the Brill Online Reference Works KBART file, which covers all reference works titles.

The only exception where Brill provides a distinct KBART file is for the following online Reference Works database collection:

Collection Name: Brill Online HAC Collected Courses

    Collection ID: 615300000000000014

    DBID: GD9

    How Ex Libris Handles This

To simplify activation and discovery, Ex Libris has created a single collection in our knowledgebases:

Collection Name: Brill Online Reference Works

    Collection ID: 61637768580000041

    DBID: ACFJD

Customers who have purchased one or more Brill Online Reference Works products should activate the Brill Online Reference Works collection in their discovery system. This approach ensures that all relevant metadata is available without requiring separate title lists for each standalone reference works product.
