    SWORD Profiles

    Admins can now configure SWORD profiles using the new Configuration tables which are at: Configuration --> Repository --> Integrations --> SWORD Profiles.  Previously changes had to be made by the Esploro implementation or support teams.

    The SWORD Profiles page lists the available SWORD Profiles and you can access the Monitor SWORD Imports page from the option at the top of the list.

    Use the Edit action to open the SWORD Profile in Edit mode.

    General Details – Name, Code, Active 

     

    Profile Options

    ·         Import as approved – should the asset be imported as approved or as a deposit pending approval

    ·         Enhance author affiliations via OpenAlex - enable or disable the addition of author affiliation from OpenAlex.  Select the “Override” option if you want to override any affiliations that may come in with the record with affiliations from OpenAlex.

    ·         Add Open Access status – update the Open Access status via OpenAlex and create a link to the OpenAccess version 

                Note:  a link to Green Open Access will be created only if the ‘create_link_for_greenOA’ Customer Parameter is enabled.  To update the parameter, access Configuration --> General --> Institution Settings

    ·         Notify Researchers – enable this option if you want to notify researchers about the new assets that have been added

    SWORD server URL

    This section displays the URL that the SWORD client needs so it can push records to the Esploro instance.  This URL and the institution’s SWORD username and password should be provided to the SWORD client
