Intota: Training for Getting Started with Intota

    • Product: Intota

What is the recommended learning path for my library that is new to Intota?

    Welcome to Intota!

The training resources below will get you started with Intota's library services platform for collection management, discovery and assessment. The training begins with learning how to populate your Intota profile with important information about your collection, and then from there the training moves into the four ERM (E-Resource Management) data repositories in Intota - Contacts, Licenses, Renewals and Cost - and Intota's flexible tool set for building effective workflows:
    • E-Journal Portal (A to Z List)
      • Note that the E-Journal Portal is a discovery tool for Ejournals and Ebooks; it is not an integral part of getting started with Intota's web-scale discovery layer, Summon. Every Intota subscription includes the E-Journal Portal, and many libraries choose to provide it to their end users.

If you are currently using Intota you may find the sessions below to be useful or you can view the Recorded Training Sessions and Special Event Presentations for Management and Discovery Services page to find additional training that goes beyond the core topics listed below.

The sessions are recorded Webex sessions. Click on the link to playback or download a session; you do not need a particular player installed on your computer to playback a session, but you will need to install the Webex Player to watch a downloaded session.
    • Need to re-visit a particular training topic? Use the Webex progress bar to jump to the time stamp listed next to the topic:
