Description:
We had some space problems in the /exlibris directory a while ago. Follow this, our users cannot log into MetaLib. When users attempt to log in, they are returned to MetaLib, but as Guest users. The PDS log file shows the following error:

Resolution:
It is possible that during the period of disc space problems, an empty file ./m3_1/pds/pds_files/counters was created, as follows:

-rw-r--r-- 1 metalib exlibris 0 Apr 27 09:30 counters

As a result, the PDS handle is created, but not passed on to MetaLib.
Please remove this empty file , try to login again and a new file will be re-created automatically in the correct way:

-rw-r--r-- 1 metalib exlibris 145 Apr 27 09:32 counters
