ProQuest and InfoReady Simplify Grant Workflow

    • Product: Pivot

Grant opportunity selection and limited submission competition management are now one seamless process

ANN ARBOR, MI, May 4, 2017 – ProQuest and InfoReady Corporation are enabling research administrators to save time and improve the accuracy of grant application management by integrating the functionality of the ProQuest Pivot® solution and InfoReady’s InfoReady Review™ platform.  The combination creates one seamless workflow from funding opportunity discovery to candidate selection.

Research administrators use Pivot to easily find grant opportunities and resources. Now, data from Pivot will automatically populate in InfoReady Review, which will post the opportunities, route applications for review, and ultimately enable users to select their most eligible grant candidates.

“We’re absolutely thrilled about the integration of Pivot and InfoReady Review,” said Constance Colthorp Amrine, Communications Manager, Office of Research and Sponsored Projects, University of Michigan. “U-M has needed a tool that could search relevant sponsored opportunities and import them into our managed competitions. There was nothing on the market that allowed us to do both, until now. We can leverage Pivot's taxonomy and powerful database to identify relevant funding opportunities and then import directly to InfoReady Review, our preferred tool for promoting and managing competitions. It’s a huge time-saver and reduces administrative and faculty burden -- a top priority for us.

“ProQuest continually looks for ways to simplify workflows, enabling our customers and users to be more effective with their time and find the best funding opportunities,” said Baker Evans, Vice President, Product Management at ProQuest. “Connecting Pivot and InfoReady Review is a natural; it automates steps and improves accuracy.”

“This value-add is bound to put a smile on the face of every Pivot and InfoReady Review customer,” commented Dan Stechow, Chief Growth Officer, InfoReady Corporation. “What’s not to like about another level of interoperability that makes our jobs easier?” For more information, visit http://www.inforeadycorp.com/pivot-integration.
