    Primo: CRKN Canadiana Content now in CDI - May 2022

    The Canadian Research Knowledge Network (CRKN) consortium's free to read Canadiana Collection (https://www.canadiana.ca/) is now available in the Ex Libris Central Discovery Index (CDI). The collection contains millions of pages of digitized historical documents in monographs, serials, and government documents. The collection was mostly published before 1921, including content digitized from the Canadian Institute for Historic Microreproductions (CIHM) microfiche series.

    CRKN is continuing to expand the collection while prioritizing at-risk materials, high interest archival collections, newspapers, and content that is representative of the diversity of the Canadian population.

    At this time, the Canadiana content available in CDI does not include the Héritage collection, however this content may be added in the future. 

    Select and activate both of the following collections in either Alma, 360 KB/Intota, or SFX (and make sure they are set to display in Primo/Summon):
