    • Product Version: 1
    • Relevant for Installation Type: Dedicated-Direct; Direct; Local; Total Care

    Symptoms

When more than one language code is defined in the MARC field 041, the full display (details tab) shows all languages on the same line. The language codes appear as the abbreviated codes, and not the language name.

For example, the Language field displays like this:
    Language: ger;fre;eng;spa

    Desired result:

Language field will display languages as:
    Language:
    German
    French
    English
    Spanish

    Workaround

    A workaround exists:

To give each language its own line:

Go to Normalization Rules > Display > Language Section

Add the following transformations to the Marc 041 rules:

    Replace Spaces by String @

    Split field @

    Save and deploy.
