    How to create a dynamic facet

    Desired Outcome Goal:
    To create a new dynamic facet that displays in Primo FE

    Procedure:
    Example: Defined a new dynamic facet for "Place" based on MARC 651$a

    1. Configure a Normalization Rule to create a local facet i.e. lfc04 field from Marc 651$a field

    2. Run renorm pipe to update PNX records. Verify the local facet lfc04 is created in the PNX

    3. In the Facet Labels code table, customize the following code:

    default.facets.search-box.facet_local4 = Place

    default.facets.facet_local4 = Place

    4. Add facet_local4 in Facets Code Fields code table

    5. Deploy Code and Mapping Tables

    6. Add facet_local4 in the list facet items in the View Wizard

    7. Click "Save & Continue" to the Deploy page and deploy the view

    8. Perform a search in FE and check results.
