Question

How to sort library names according to alphabetical order?

Answer

For example, In this article, we will consider Icelandic alphabets. All diacritics can be sorted right after their non-diacritic counterpart by using Decomposed Unicode characters in the Library names instead of composed Unicode characters.

For example: A with Combining acute agent

Composed Unicode character: Á is encoded as (single character)
U+00C1 : LATIN CAPITAL LETTER A WITH ACUTE

Decomposed Unicode charter: Á is encoded as (Two different characters)
U+0041 : LATIN CAPITAL LETTER A
U+0301 : COMBINING ACUTE ACCENT {stress mark; Greek oxia, tonos}

In the BO - using the decomposed characters in the library name will help you to achieve this.
Primo Home > Advanced Configuration > All Code Tables
Sub System : Delivery
Table name: Library Names

Replace the composed character with decomposed characters.

For example:
Árbæjarskóli to Árbæjarskóli
Áslandsskóli to Áslandsskóli

Save and deploy changes.
