    Question

Why do records in Primo loaded through a Discovery Import Profile display an “InkingParameters” link?

    Answer

The “InkingParameters” link indicates that Primo was unable to create a valid link to the record.
In most cases, the record URL is stored in the dc:identifier tag, but it is not correctly configured in the Linking Parameters section of the Discovery Import Profile.

    To resolve the issue:

    1. Go to Configuration Menu > Discovery > Loading External Data Sources > Discovery Import Profiles.

    1. Edit the relevant Discovery Import Profile.

    1. Open the Delivery tab.

    1. Scroll to the Linking Parameters section.

    1. Edit LinkingParameter1.

    1. Set the matching string to ^(?:http(s)?:\/\/).* or configure the following:

    • Use source tag: Always

    • Normalization source tag: No normalization

    1. Save the changes.

    1. From the profile actions menu (three dots), select Reload.

Note: A tag refers to any element enclosed in angle brackets (<>) in the XML file.
