Is it necessary to run POIKE for Primo4 Upgrade on all slots of the BE server?
Answer
No, the POIKE only needs to be run once per server.
Additional Information
For example:
A 2-Tier MFE topology with 2 FEs will have a BE server with p3_1 slot for BO + Indexer1, and a p3_2 slot for Indexer2.
In this case, the POIKE only needs to be run once on the BE server.
This is different from requirements of the PPUK & PUEK that REQUIRE them to be run for each slot.
