Primo message displays "Your session has been inactive for a long time..."

    • Article Type: General
    • Product: Primo
    • Product Version: 2

    Description:
If a window with Primo is closed, yet another window/tab of the same browser is still open until the session timeout occurs, and then a user reenters Primo, the following message will display: "Your session has been inactive for a long time and has been reset."

    Resolution:
This has been fixed in SP 2.1.6, RN 5434:
This fix changes the way session timeouts work. If a search request is invoked after a timeout, the system will perform the search request as a guest user and will not display the "session timeout" message. For all other requests (such as full display or adding tags), the "session timeout" message will continue to display.

    Additional Information
