Receiving Primo VE error: "Failed to save the request: Digitization Requests - Request limit of 0 has been reached. New request cannot be created."

    • Product: Primo VE

    Question

When placing a digitization request in Primo VE, our patrons receive the message: "Failed to save the request: Digitization Requests - Request limit of 0 has been reached. New request cannot be created". What does this mean and how can we fix it to allow patrons to place a digitization request in Primo VE?

    Answer

To allow a patron to place a digitization request, the number of Max digitization requests must be greater than 0 for that patron's user group. The Max digitization requests number indicates how many digitization requests a patron can place at one time. You can configure this number in the Patron Limits table found here: Configuration -> Fulfillment -> Patron Configurations -> Patron Limits
