Vprimo error when placing a request

• Article Type: General
• Product: Primo

Problem Symptoms:
* Signing in to Vprimo before performing a search results in a Vprimo error when placing a request

Cause:
This problem occurs when the vprimo.properties file is missing the mappings for PDS Institute to Voyager DB_CODE.

Resolution:
1. Edit the /m1/voyager/xxxdb/tomcat/vprimo/context/vprimo/ini/vprimo.properties file
2. Add the PDS institutues as show below:
<
LOCAL

<
LOCAL

<
LOCAL

<
LOCAL

Additional Information

Adding the missing entries does not require a restart for the change to take effect. The user, signed in to Primo, is now automatically signed into vprimo when making a request.
