Adding a Showcase Carousel to the Landing Page (NDE UI)
A showcase carousel displaying the results of a selected saved search can be added to the bottom of the landing page. This can be used, for example, to highlight the works of a particular author or the latest additions to the library.
You can optionally add a title to the carousel. If you do so, selecting the title text in the landing page opens the saved search as a regular search, displaying the full Brief Results for the search.

Enabling and Setting Up the Carousel
By default, this feature is disabled. When you enable it, you can select the saved search (query) to use to populate the carousel. The first 50 items in the search results of the selected search query are included in the carousel.
- In the view configuration (Discovery > Display Configuration > Configure Views), edit the view to which you want to add the carousel.
- In the General tab, select Display Showcase in Landing page. The Select query button beside it becomes active.
- Select the Select query button. A dialog box listing saved searches from your user account (i.e., the user currently signed into Alma) in Primo VE opens. Up to ten saved searches can be included in the list, beginning with the newest one.

- Select the saved search to use for the carousel, and then select OK.
- Select Save. The carousel is added to the landing page.
Configuring a Title for the Carousel
By default, the carousel has no title. If you want to add a title, you can do so by configuring the description of the nde.landing.showcaseTitle label in the the Search Tile Labels code table (Discovery > Display Configuration > Labels). When defined, the title links to the underlying search query. (By default, the label description is set to NOT_DEFINED. Restore this description to remove the title when it has been configured.)
