|Description||As a component that facilitates user authentication and login to Primo, Patron Directory Service (PDS) may be configured to suit different types of authentication needs. In today’s presentation you’ll receive an overview of PDS with special consideration given to its use in Primo. Although PDS works with Digitool, MetaLib, Rosetta, Aleph and Voyager, as well as Primo we’re going to focus on its configuration and integration in Primo as the main calling application. We’ll discuss why PDS is frequently used in Primo, what it is, and some of its key concepts – and we’ll take a look at some PDS configuration scenarios in Primo.|| |
