|
Rapido libraries can use mediation rules for self ownership checks on borrowing requests. Requests which are then routed to RapidILL partners are again checked via RapidILL functionality. A request is then updated to locally owned. This can result in staff redundant staff review on a request that was already mediated and reviewed. CERV Enhancement: Rapido Closing Periods: Due Dates & Renewals
| What’s New | Highlights | Impact |
|---|---|---|
|
From the community: We noticed that Rapido does not consider closing periods entered in the calendar of the library (with ignore_lender_due_date parameter set as true). The due dates of Rapido requests are therefore not based on that calendar, while the due date of the loaned temporary item is. Consequently, a mismatch occurs, which in addition interferes with the renewals. We would like that: - Rapido considers the closing periods entered in the library calendar in Alma. - Rapido synchronises the borrowing and lending requests due dates. This functionality would be optional. |
Rapido pod terms determine the loan period. and thus the due date. The due date will also be influenced by the library's calendar. |
Rapido due dates for the pod to consider library calendar. |
