What is the Search Databases in RefWorks?

Answer

The database search is a basic search process that uses the Z39.50 protocol. This protocol returns limited search results from publicly available databases or library catalogs that can be accessed from within RefWorks. Commercial and subscription databases are not included in this list.

This search can produce different results than one performed from the catalog or database native interface.
