    Using the Database Search in RefWorks

    RefWorks provides access to hundreds of library catalogs and publicly available databases. Search results can be imported into the user's account with the click of a button.

    To access the search, select the Search Databases menu from the left hand side of the page.

    Open the search and either enter the name of the institution or other database you wish to search or pick it from the list of recently used searches.

    Enter the search term in the box next to the name of the resource being searched and select the Search icon.

    Mark the items to be imported and select the Import button.

    A successful import will generate this message.

    The new references are placed in the Last Imported folder and can be assigned to other folders by click-and-drag...

    ...or by menu selection.
