    Award Field Details

    Below is an explanation of fields that may be returned in an award record, if available:

    Title - Name of the research project as provided by funder.

    Funder - Name of main funding body.

    Year - Year award was made, generally based on the decision date, unless otherwise specified in the awards data information.

    Amount - Provided in the currency of the funder country. Any alternative currency amounts have been converted to the target currency.

    Principal Investigator - Name as provided by funder.

    Recipient Organisation - Institution award was made to.

    Recipient Department - If applicable.

    Co-investigator Names - If applicable.

    Funder Reference - Funder’s internal award reference.

    View Abstract - Link to abstract if available.

    Start Date - As provided by funder. Where this is announced, as opposed to actual, the record is annotated.

    End Date - As provided by funder. Where this is announced, as opposed to actual, the record is annotated.

    Duration - As provided by funder. Where this is announced, as opposed to actual, the record is annotated.

    Decision Date - As provided by funder.

    Funding Opportunity - Internal RP link, if opportunity is open or recurrent. Opportunities may be linked to a different funder than the awarding funder.

    Sponsor Name - Sponsoring PI or institution, generally associated with studentships and fellowships.

    Original Call - As provided by the funder. This may differ from the name of a linked funding opportunity on RP.

    Mechanism, Programme, Scheme, Category and Area - As funders are not consistent in how they classify this information, we have not attempted to standardise their meanings. The information is presented as supplied by the funder.

    Panel - The name of the awarding panel. The names of panel members are not provided.
