Getting "Cannot update the Logic Deposit Area General Parameter" error

Description

We recently moved our deposit_storage location from /deposit_storage to /storage1/deposit_storage.

Attempting to update Home > General Parameters > Deposit (Module) > logic_deposit_area in the Administrative Module results in this error: "Cannot update the Logic Deposit Area General Parameter".

Resolution

Note that in the description for logic_deposit_area parameters it says:

"Path to directory used as the storage of the Deposit.

Changing this value is possible only if there are no SIPs in the TA Deposit, Loading, or Validation sections nor deposit jobs with the status of Rejected or Draft"

Note that this includes the Demo institution (INS00) in addition to your local institution.

Please make sure to remove all active deposits and SIPs from both your local institution *and* the Demo institution before updating the  logic_deposit_area parameter.
