    How to change "logic_deposit_area" path

    Question

    What is the right way to change the "deposit" path?
    In Advanced configuration > General > General Parameters > deposit and change the "logic_deposit_area" path, the following message displays:
    "Cannot update the Logic Deposit Area General Parameter" and it will not allow us to change the path.

    Answer

    Update of the "logic_deposit_area" parameter is not permitted if there are SIPs (submission information packages) in the following statuses:
    1. TA/Deposit
    2. TA/Loading
    3. TA/Validation
    4. Rejected
    5. Draft
    Please make sure there are no SIPs in these stages before trying to change this parameter.
