    Question

Is it possible to search Rosetta and look at content but not download any files?
The "Viewer" role doesn't enable searching.
The "Editor-View" role does enable searching, but also allows for the downloading of files.

    Answer

There is no role/functionality to allow searching but also prevent downloading objects.
Alternatively, it would be possible to harvest these restricted records into a “restricted” search scope in Primo that only authenticated primo users could see/use.
Additionally it is possible to search Rosetta directly via SRU.
