    Question

We noticed some decrease in image quality delivered via Rosetta. We would like to know whether JpegVPP performs by default on fly image compression and how can it be controlled ?

    Answer

When running jpg conversion there are parameters that can be configured.
The configuration of the parameters is done via the Stream Handler configuration.
In the Rosetta administration, Under repository > Utility and files > Stream handler you can see all configured parameters.
In Generic Representation Task Rules you can see when each rule is used.

    Additional Information

You can read more about it in Rosetta configuration guid under p. 117 - Stream Handlers
