    Summon: DOAJ - access to metadata disruption

    Due to high use of metadata supplied in their "public data dump", DOAJ unfortunately had to halt the availability of this metadata. The "public data dump" page says that: "this is because, due to a sudden spike, the number of data downloads was so large that it was incurring unforeseen costs". They continue by noting "we are committed, however, to providing a data dump service but need some time to investigate a more sustainable way of delivering this data". 

    The data delivery disruption is temporary, and DOAJ metadata is up-to-date in the knowledgebases and CDI as of this writing (2023-02-01), so the immediate impact is minimal.
