    Voyager to Alma Migration Query: Bibliographic Records with an invalid Record Status in the MARC Leader

    Created By: Laura Guy (contact)
    Created on: 9/15/2020

    When migrating from Voyager to Alma, it may be desirable to identify and review those bibliographic records that have an invalid MARC Record Leader record status (LDR/05).  You may want to clean up any invalid codes.

    This query, which can be run using Voyager Prepackaged Access Reports, will find bibliographic records with a records status code other than a, c, d, n, or p.

    SELECT BIB_TEXT.BIB_ID, BIB_TEXT.RECORD_STATUS,
    BIB_TEXT.TITLE_BRIEF,
    BIB_TEXT.EDITION, BIB_TEXT.IMPRINT,
    BIB_TEXT.NETWORK_NUMBER, BIB_MASTER.SUPPRESS_IN_OPAC
    FROM BIB_TEXT INNER JOIN BIB_MASTER
    ON BIB_TEXT.BIB_ID = BIB_MASTER.BIB_ID
    WHERE (((BIB_TEXT.RECORD_STATUS) Not Like "a"
    And (BIB_TEXT.RECORD_STATUS) Not Like "c"
    And (BIB_TEXT.RECORD_STATUS) Not Like "d"
    And (BIB_TEXT.RECORD_STATUS) Not Like "n"
    And (BIB_TEXT.RECORD_STATUS) Not Like "p"));
